Get to know The Rocks on our new Thursday Walk series!
Join The Rocks' Senior Outreach Manager Nigel Manley for this weekly educational walking program, rotating between topics of Maple Sugaring, NH Wildlife, Christmas Trees, and History of The Rocks.
Thursday, September 26: Christmas Trees & Wildlife
Learn all about how Christmas tree farming intersects with wildlife habitat, how our tree fields support diverse wildlife populations, and what we do to encourage and support wildlife habitat.
These walks will traverse varied terrain throughout The Rocks' campus, so be prepared to walk on gravel paths, uphill, through farm fields, and on the trails. Dress for the weather as we will go rain or shine! Walks last approximately two hours; some will have an introductory 15-30 minute presentation.
$5 for members, $15 for not-yet-members.
