Join our Senior Outreach Manager, Nigel Manley, on a snowshoe hike on the trails at The Rocks. The hike will meet at our Carriage Barn before setting off into the woods to explore the historical buildings that remain on the property. Manley will provide the natural history of the property, why it has been transformed into a working Christmas tree farm and how the Forest Society manages the land today.
This hike is rated as easy to moderate and is family friendly! Bring your snowshoes, poles if you’d like them, and plenty of layers in case it’s chilly. We have a small selection of snowshoes that can be rented on site ($10 per pair). We would also strongly recommend bringing some water and snacks.
We love your dogs but would request that they sit this hike out.
This event is ticketed. For members: $5. For not-yet-members: $15. Children are free.
