Creek Farm Historical Lecture and Walking Tour
Creek Farm

A view of Sagamore Creek from Creek Farm.
Located along the shore of Sagamore Creek in Portsmouth, Creek Farm is an ideal setting for appreciating and exploring the natural and cultural heritage of the Piscataqua Region. Join Matt Scaccia and learn more about Creek Farm’s significance as an early site for colonial-era agriculture, the Carey family, connections to the historic Treaty of Portsmouth, how Creek Farm was conserved, and more. The indoor presentation will lead into a guided walking tour that elaborates on the scenic, natural, and cultural elements of this special property. Whether Creek Farm is already one of your beloved Seacoast hikes or you are someone looking to discover a new outdoor getaway moments from downtown Portsmouth, this tour offers a perfect opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of this storied place.
