|
![]() This hike will traverse mountain terrain, including rocks and roots with some rock scrambling required. Please be prepared for some steep elevation gain in some places. Dress for the weather (spikes recommended), as this hike will proceed rain or shine! Please note that dogs are not allowed on this hike. This event is free but requires a RSVP confirmation to ensure attendance. Contact us with questions or for more information. Mardi Fuller advocates for racial equity through writing, speaking and community building. A lifelong backcountry adventurer, she lives in Boston where she works as a nonprofit communications director. She is a contributing writer to Outside magazine, SKI magazine, NRDC, Melanin Basecamp and more and serves on the board of the Appalachian Mountain Club. *While all Forest Society events are welcoming of all identities, we understand the importance of affinity spaces. In an effort to create and support spaces that welcome and prioritize BIPOC individuals, the Forest Society has reserved this event for members of the BIPOC community. If you do not identify as BIPOC, we thank you for your interest and invite you to check out our other non-affinity group outings on our events page. Date:
