Lace up your hiking boots and fill up your water bottles, and join Mardi Fuller, Boston-based BIPOC outdoor advocate, for a hike up the Forest Society’s Mount Major in Alton, NH. This ~3.5 mile round-trip hike will ascend the Blue/Main trail, and descend the Yellow/Brook trail, providing you with scenic views of the fall woods, Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains while traveling at a moderate, conversational pace, perfect for individuals and families of most hiking capabilities.

This hike will traverse mountain terrain, including rocks and roots with some rock scrambling required. Please be prepared for some steep elevation gain in some places. Dress for the weather, as this hike will proceed rain or shine!

Please note that dogs are not allowed on this hike.

This event is free but requires a RSVP confirmation to ensure attendance.
