Guided Hike at Bean Forest

Visit this NEW Forest Society permanent property and trail in Farmington. A 2-mile loop hike includes some sustained uphill hiking to reach open views from the top of Chesley Mountain. Learn about forests, wildlife and the protection of our 200th conserved forest. Leaders: Dave Anderson and fellow land stewards The Forest Society’s Annual DIY “5 Hikes Challenge” runs from August 30 to October 31. Complete the hikes on your own schedule, or join one of our optional, staff-led outings to explore new or classic destinations during the challenge.
