Squam Lakes Science Center brings “Hawks and Owls” to Bretzfelder Park on Wednesday, August 7!
The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center returns to Bretzfelder Park on Wednesday, August 7 at 6 p.m. for a free program titled “Hawks and Owls.”
Join a Squam Lakes Science Center naturalist to meet live raptors that call New Hampshire home. Compare the fascinating similarities and differences between hawks and owls to discover how they are perfectly suited to the habitat niche they each fill.
This free program is interactive and designed to engage and educate audience members of all ages, and is part of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests’ Bretzfelder Park Family Educational Series.
RSVPs are appreciated but not required. Walk-ins are welcome; those registered will receive updates about any changes.
The Bretzfelder Park Family Educational series is presented each year in winter and summer by the Forest Society and the Bretzfelder Park Committee.
