Please join us on May 15th, 2026 to celebrate the Merrimack Floodplain All Persons Trail located off Portsmouth Street in Concord. This 1/4 mile section of trail has had significant accessibility upgrades and is open to the public. On the afternoon of May 15th, we will lead a guided tour of the new trail to talk about how and why it was constructed, thank our funders and partners, and take in the view of the Merrimack River as we enjoy refreshments!

1:30pm - Meet at trailhead parking (40 Portsmouth Street, Concord). There are no restroom facilities at the trailhead, so if you may need to use a restroom, please arrive a bit earlier and use the bathrooms at the Conservation Center (54 Portsmouth Street), the Forest Society's adjacent office headquarters.

1:30-2:00pm - Tour of upgraded trail with insight on accessibe construction and surrounding natural history from Dylan Summers (Stewardship Projects Manager) and Dave Anderson (Senior Director of Education).

2:00-2:15pm - Thank you to funders and project supporters (Jack Savage, Forest Society President)

2:15-2:40pm - Refreshments by the Merrimack River!

2:40-3:00pm - Return back to parking, depart

Please RSVP below if you are able; this will help us plan refreshments! If you have any questions, please contact Carrie Deegan at cdeegan@forestsociety.org.
